Academic Scholarship Program
Goals
1. To further the overall purpose of The Committee of 100 of promoting responsible economic development by providing support to university students studying business, economics, science, technology, engineering, math or related fields.
2. To enable The Committee of 100 to provide a service to the community beyond its promotion of a healthy economy in Delaware.
Scholarship Recipient Criteria
1. Must be a high school senior living in New Castle County.
2. Must be accepted for admission to an accredited college or university.
3. Must have declared an intention of majoring in business, economics, or a STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) field.
4. Must demonstrate academic excellence and well-rounded involvement in extra-curricular and community activities.

1. Applicant should submit a completed Application Form, including attachments, to:

by the application deadline of 5:00 p.m. on April 17, 2020. No late applications will be considered. See this page for more details.
2. The Scholarship Committee will select, from among qualified applicants, finalists for interviews which will be held in late April or early May.
3. The Scholarship will be awarded at The Committee of 100's Dinner Meeting on May 19, 2020.
Scholarship Amount
The scholarship for the 2020-21 academic year is three thousand dollars ($3,000) for tuition/room/board expenses. The payment will be made following documentation of enrollment.
The Committee of 100 may offer additional scholarships based upon need, special circumstances, unique accomplishments, and/or a compelling story.
